BW Converting to showcase its PCMC Meridian Elite+ at FTA FORUM INFOFLEX 2026
BW Converting will highlight advanced laser anilox cleaning technology for flexographic converters at the industry’s premier spring event
GREEN BAY, Wis. — April 9, 2026 — BW Converting will exhibit at FTA FORUM INFOFLEX 2026, held April 26 through 29 at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the company will feature its PCMC Meridian Elite+ laser anilox cleaning platform for the flexographic printing market. The event’s 2026 theme, “Future-Focused. Flexo-Driven.”, aligns closely with BW Converting’s commitment to helping converters improve pressroom efficiency, reduce operator burden and protect print quality in an increasingly demanding production environment.
BW Converting’s PCMC Meridian Elite+ represents the latest generation of the company’s laser roll cleaning technology. Designed for flexographic and gravure applications, the system deep cleans rolls using a patented rotating scanner and single-laser design, removing inks, adhesives, glazes, varnishes, stiffeners and coatings while eliminating the need for water, chemicals or compressed air. The platform also includes new automation and connectivity features that support more consistent roll performance and reduced manual intervention. Those features include integrated cell volume measurement, cloud-based roll reporting and roll-history tracking through BW Converting’s Accelerate™ platform.
The PCMC Meridian Elite+ is built to address a familiar challenge in today’s flexo pressroom: how to maintain print consistency and roll health while minimizing downtime and labor demands. The system can clean a 52-inch roll with a 6-inch diameter in less than 14 minutes, and its integrated microscope can measure cell volumes before and after cleaning, helping operators confirm performance and trigger additional cleaning cycles when needed. BW Converting positions the platform as a faster, smarter, more connected approach to anilox maintenance for converters under pressure in today's fast-paced production floors.
As part of BW Converting’s broader flexographic portfolio, the Meridian Elite+ complements the company’s PCMC flexo press technology by helping flexible packaging converters achieve anilox roll integrity, maintain job-to-job repeatability and ensure more efficient overall pressroom performance. The platform also supports BW Converting’s longer-term vision for closer integration between anilox management and press technology.
“The PCMC Meridian is hands down the best anilox roll cleaner in the industry, given its ease of use and cleaning performance," said Nick Herman, Senior Manager Print Technical Services, Charter Next Generation. “It’s one of the best products I’ve ever used in flexographic printing.”
“At FORUM INFOFLEX, we’re looking forward to showing converters how Meridian Elite+ supports a more automated, data-driven approach to anilox management,” said Rodney Pennings, Sales Director, Print, BW Converting. “Pressrooms are under constant pressure to improve uptime, reduce waste and make the most of skilled labor. The Meridian Elite+ was designed to help address all three.”
The Meridian Elite+ also reflects BW Converting’s continued investment in technologies that support both productivity and sustainability. In addition to reducing manual handling, the system operates without water, chemicals or compressed air, helping converters stay more organized, simplify maintenance and reduce operating costs. Its front-access filter design, automatic roll diameter sensing and fully automatic cleaning cycles are all intended to make operation easier for pressroom teams while supporting more repeatable results.
Visitors to BW Converting's booth at FORUM INFOFLEX 2026 will have the opportunity to learn more about the PCMC Meridian Elite+ and discuss how the company's portfolio supports flexographic printers and converters focused on print quality, uptime and smarter maintenance practices.
